HELLO EVERYONE!:)  MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR.  I love you all and just want you to know that I am so grateful and thankful for all your love and support and prayers.  I have had the best mission ever and as I am coming on the last few months before I go home I just want to let you all know that there is nothing that the love of our Savior Jesus Christ can’t fix or reach,  I know that he is our savior and redeemer and that through him and only through Him can we make it back to live with our families forever!  I haven’t really missed home a lot on my mission because AFRICA is so awesome it has taken a piece of my heart that will always be here forever, but this year as I have been reflecting I have missed you all a lot and have thought about all the great times we have had together and how much you mean to me.  But enough of the mooshy stuff!  I gotta get back to work and save the world!  ONLY 3 MORE MONTHS!!!! thats not a lot of time to do what the Lord has chosen me to do here.  LOVE YOU ALL CANT WAIT TP TALK TPO YOU ON CHRISTMAS!!!!!:)    ELDER REEVE.
December 16, 2013  7:44AM

Well I came back to Bedfordview/Edenvale which is where I came from when I went to hammanskrall so after 4 glorious weeks of paradise in township Im back in town haha. but its good im excited.  my comp. is Elder Puente from Chandler AZ.
My aussi comp. was great I loved him and we got on great and yes president and I both agree that I had a positive influence on him and helped him something I seem to have been doing a lot of on my mission.  there are 26 Elders in my zone, the biggest in the mission!  Almost a small mission haha but we don,t have sisters in SA.  Security risk.  we cover everything from Bedforview to South of the VAL which is the big river here.
Yes im comp with another ZL.  I am loving mission and my comp is helping me a lot to learn great things.  I feel good and good things are in the works we are working with a lot of great families right now and hope to have baptisms in JAN.  love you all and thanks for all you do

Hey, I was just thinking with all of the brain power this family has would it be possible to set up like a business chat on skype so I can talk to all of you guys?  just an idea if not I will let mom and dad know next week the times that I will be calling or that is ok for you to call.  But Christmas will be nice we will be Well taken care of :)  which I am grateful for cause last year we were kinda on our own haha.  but I love you all so much and am excited to call you :)  love ELDER REEVE
December 9, 2013  2:04 AM

In other news NELSON MANDELA died at age 95 so everyone was talking about it all week,  also we had an earthquake here, we were in the flat after coming home on Monday night and the windows started shaking and it sounded like a jet plane was right over the top of us, pretty interesting experience.

December 9, 2013   2:47 AM
oh ya sorry I have lots of after thoughts that I send, but seeing as how I don’t know where I am going to be for Christmas yet until next week, I will figure that all out and then let you know when and where and what time we can call for this year:)  LOVE YOU

December 9, 2013   8:47 AM
Well my companion was really sick this week with the runs but we still managed to go and get a few things done.  but I got a call from President Omer and he called me to be a zone leader.  So tomorrow I will be getting transferred and starting a new phase of mission life so it s exciting but I m sad to be leaving here it is a great place with a lot of great people.  I am going to kinda miss interpreting sign language I think it is something that I will do when I get home.  But sounds like things are getting really cold, it is nice and warm here :)
But ya things are just great.  Tell Julia congratz and I love her.  Hope all is going well and that you are staying warm.  Well I don’t know if you remember but there was a girl who came to my farewell who you thought was really nice,  well she will be getting married on the 17 of Dec.  so if you see her tell her hello for me :)  hahaha  LOVE ELDER REEVE

December 16, 2013   7:38  AM
hey,
nope I havent ever really been to sick.  just a cold or the runs but nothing to keep me in the flat but ya is is a big blessing.  I remember when President Lundeen set me apart he blessed me that I would be free of sickness, so yup it is a big one:)  yeah I have played doctor to a lot of mission companions, taking care of people ha ha’

you should ask them if I can get a flight through Minnesota and have a small layover there so I can see rj.  Its been about 3 or 4 years....but ya Im excited but working hard, still enough time to save the world!  Im in Edenvale/Bedfordview its the same zone as before in ALBERTON, so back in town with the rich people hahaha but its ok I had 4 weeks of paradise in township before I finish:)ELDER REEVE

HEY MOM!
hope your doing well :) im doing great, things are awesome! Well the only thing is that one of our investigators on date has a problem with the peopel at church after sunday she thinks they are all hippocrites but she loves the church so much soooooo we got lots of damage control to do before she gets baptised but we will see how it goes. Lots of cultural stuff that stops the church from really growing here but we are batteling and winning this is the lords work and no unhallowed hand can stop the work from progressing so we battel on! :) LOVE YOU SO MUCH! GETTING EXCITIED TO CALL HOME FOR MY LAST CHRISTMAS :) LOVE YOU SO MUCH!

November 18, 2013    2:24 AM

hey mom, well as far as Christmas package I really don’t need anything all my clothes are in great shape and I m happy as can be, my cheap-o-Wall-Mart camera finally broke the other day so I will just use others cameras from now on and copy photos over, its no big deal.  I would just say use the money you would have used to buy and send the package and put it on my card so I can use it here to go out to eat or something, that will suffice thanks:)

November 25, 2013  3:23 AM

Hey, well this week was great!  We had two baptisms of two young women, no family support at all but both with POWERFUL testimonies of the restored gospel.  It was really inspiring to see.  Well in other news Jesse’s mission president has asked him to extend his mission so he will probably be getting home in July or August sometime, really cool!  Things with my comp are going well, he is really a hard worker and loves the people, just somethings that happened in his pre-mission life make him a little rough around the edges.  His language and some stuff like that and I figure the best way to help him is just like I have been doing with all my companions my whole mission, just being an example and helping them work hard.  So as for now not a lot going on as far as exciting news.  Working on my sign language, my second week at church interpreting was better, but ya I am really enjoying life right now, I could just do this until the second coming feels like! :)  but excited for Christmas love you guys a lot  hope all is going well and you enjoy the weekend!  I will try and send photos next week!:)   LOVE ELDER REEVE
November 11, 2013  3:35 AM
I’ll get transferred on Tuesday to Hammanskrall a township on the east side of Pretoria the Capital, its gonna be HOT! but I have a assignment from Prezident to help a missionary get used to mission life so i’ll be there for 4 weeks (short transfer because of Christmas and then I will be getting transferred again)  well the Christ-like attribute for the month is Patience so we will see how it plays into my new assignment.  Glad your home and safe pray for you a lot as you travel.  Hope things are ok at home.  I always love transfers they give me a new life and some excitement so im energized and ready to go for the long haul to the end of the year :)  oh ya if you want to start your trunky count down calendar you can read 1 section of D&C a day and I’ll be home before you can finish!  hahaha crazy  LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH SEND PHOTOS SOON:)  LOTS OF LOVE ELDER REEVE

November 18, 2013  2:22  AM

HEY
Glad things are going well for you on the SALVATION FRONT!  yeah my companion is good.  His name is Elder O’Riordan from Australia.  yes I am still a district leader.  I am in Hammanskrall a little township.  We are a small branch that meets in a members home/living room.  It was powerful they have a great spirit about them.  We are working on finding a school to rent so we can meet there so that, cause really there are to many people and it will help grow the church even faster here.  I really feel like I have finally passed through the refiners fire and I know just look at all challenges with confidence and faith, no longer scared.  I have made big steps in trusting in the Lord but still have a long way to go, kinda like Elder Bednar told us just let go and get out of the way. :)
Well I have been chastised by the Lord here.  I should have learned sign language at home, we have a deaf member and two deaf investigators and on Sunday I got the PRIVILEGE of trying to interpret for them.  WOW what a ob that was but I will practice every day to get my singing up to par.  I am excited I love the people here and the work is moving.  LOTS OF LOVE,

ELDER REEVE
OCTOBER 28, 2013
 Happy Birthday Oktavia!

November 4, 2013  2:46 AM

WELL,
this week was amazing! On halloween we got to have a zone conference with ELDER BEDNAR and Elder Cook of the area Presidency, what an amazing experience.  Some highlights from things that I learned are to just let go and be a good boy, just do what Im supposed to and let the Lord do the rest in His own time and His own way, we often expect blessings because we have been working hard or keeping the commandments or whatever it may be but thats not how it works, we just do what we are supposed to and then the Lord will do as he sees fit.  SO when we are going through trials even when we are being good kids....just let go and enjoy the ride just keep doing what we are supposed to and every little thing is gonna be alright. :) love you all and hope that the Lord will bless you in your efforts to live righteously.

but ya transfers are next week so I might be moving but we will see.  This next transfer is only 4 weeks because of the Christmas traffic they will try and get people home early, and then after that is an 8 week transfer!  SO LONG and then after that is a 6 week and then Im home!  pretty crazy but ya i’ll look forward to skyeping on Christmas if I,m able.  love you all a lot.        ELDER REEVE

October 21, 2013  3:39 AM

Well things have been going good, and this was a POWERFUL WEEKEND!
Finally got to watch general conference-so many good messages especially for the members to bad no one was there to hear them- conference attendance was poor!  big scene of apathy here.  its sad but then I realized maybe thats my problem as well, I don’t care any more and it made me really sad I don,t like to think of myself like that so gotta do some self-introspection.  But we had conference and then we got to go to the temple as well saw the new video. WOW! POWERFUL gives you a different perspective on the events that took place and stuff I really enjoyed it!  Tried to make bean soup this week-went well just didn’t cook the beans long enough so they were a little bit hard still but it was fine.  Well things are going good with the work.  We will get the opportunity to listen to ELDER DAVID A. BEDNAR on the 31 of OCT!  He will come and speak to us so two apostles in 2 years I.m lucky! haha :)  so thats exciting and also in 3 weeks we will have transfers which I will 90% likely get transferred which means I will be going to my last area on my mission before I come home!!!  crazyto think about that how fast time is flying and things are changing.  It’s been a really great experience so far and I won’t ever forget it.  It’s changed my life and I have met so many people here who are amazing and have played a huge roll in my development as a son of our Heavenly Father, so to all of you who can- GO TO THE TEMPLE AND YOU CAN DO IT NOW  DONT MAKE EXCUSES!  If your not worthy to do so get that way and do it now!  it will change your life, and for those of you who can’t yet make the proper preparations to do so and don,t miss out on the great blessings that are in store for you there in:)   If there is one thing I have learned on my mission it is the power of the atonement and conference had more great messages telling us about it, I know I haven’t shared a lot of experiences with you but you know me its hard for me to express my feelings but this is

one thing that I know God lives and he is mindful of each and everyone of us, he has given us the power to choose and to be saved through his grace and mercy its such a beautiful gift we just have to reach out and he will take us in his arms and heal us  I have witnessed as the Atonement of Jesus Christ has changed peoples lives here in Africa (mine included) and I know that there is no other way to salvation except by and through his holy name even the Lord Jesus Christ!  Love you all so much makes me happy every time I think about you all and when someone asks me about my family/friends I love telling them about all of you.  we have a rich history and heritage be proud of it and live up to it:)  love you all so much  ELDER REEVE
Sept. 23, 2013
Well this week in study i have been reading the story of paul and as he was standing before king agrippa i was captivated and just keep reading and reading i found that story something amazing and really connected to it as well the verse in 1 Timothy chapter 6:12, its a powerful verse that gave me some hope this week. yeah chapter 6 is great! but this weekend we did a Genoeolgy Course- we put adds in the paper and invited the public and had a great turn out 14 non-members showed up and loved it we showed themfamilysearch.org and how to find peoples records ect. and we are having lots come again next week. SO THANK YOU AND MOM FOR DOING OUR FAMILY HISTORY!!!!! i was able to log on and BAMB! there was my genoeolgy and i was able to show everyone things on the big screen - it looked very impressive! :) so thank you. i was also able to use all the family history stuff that i brought with me. other than that yeah we have lots of people but no one is coming to church that is our big struggle right now! we have about 20 people in our teaching pool but no one at church. so that is what we are batteling with now, as well as getting the branch here to do anything missionary related....so we have been studying the work of salvation dvd to try and get ideas. so we will try and see what we can do. but thanks for all your love and support love you lots!

Hi,
well nothing amazing or special to report, things are going really really slow and its hard, but i was reading the Book Of Mormon last night and decided i needed to know if it is true again. So i prayed and begged our Father in Heaven to help me understand it and know if it is true and i felt the confirmation of the spirit telling me that it is true and gave me just a little bit of strength to keep on going. Love you lots and hope all is going well.

hey winter is almost over so we are looking forward to that. but then again it will start heating up so we shall see how the winter ends. My new comp. is elder mead from NAPA IDAHO he said hes worked at the farm there a few times hes a cool guys. ya we finally got to see the world wide leadership traning and thats what our conference was on as well. Any idea how to work with members?
shame sounds like they need a course on how to budget hahaha :) i've been doing really well and have been able to save a couple hundred rand over the last couple months so im doing well in that regard not going hungry. the work is tough here REALLY need the members help and i think its slowly coming. but we shall see. really trying to seek the lords guidance about who to see and how to help them share the gosple.
well love you lots and thanks for all you do
ELDER REEVE

hey,
dont really know what to write any more this week was hard - struggeling to find people to teach spend lots of time trakting just nothing so we are trying to work with members.... its going ok.  But still positive. Love going to church had a couple of less-actives pitch up so thats cool. going to start a family history calss for the branch here and open it up to the community so hopefully that will bring some new life in here. nothing exciting or amazing to report other than our recent conver gary is smoking again. so thats a tough one. but he is still coming to church and trying his best. just hard to overcome addiction. happy labor day! ya winter is dragging out here so its still chilly.  ya its interesting to here about all the politics and things in these african countries all around the world it seems the same- crooks are in politics - i guess thats why in my patriachl blessing it tells me i will be sough after to lead people in government affaris because of my correct use of rightouse princples so when i get home ill start on fixing things up hahaha but
ummm ya i think thats about all. love you lots and hope all is well miss you guys like crazy.
ELDER REEVE

Hey, this week was tough and good. Got my new comp. Elder Mead from Napa idaho! he said he's worked on the church farm there. hes been out for 3 months. good guy has a strong spirit - a lot like me when i first came out on mission really timid and unsure but this week was really tough everything fell through and after my last comp and i had things on a roll. so it humbled me and i must start over and rely on the lord and get things done his way. But things are going well other wise. still helping members with family history and showing off your fan chart! not really a whole lot else to say we baptized our one solid investigator so its back to square one :) haha gotta love mission life. thanks for all your love and support , love you lots
ELDER REEVE

Love guys a lot as well!!! :)
hope the week was good for you. Elder Lewis my comp has finished his mission so he will head home tommorrow and ill get a new companion so that will be exciting! Still here in Alberton. Glad your staying busy but dont wear your self out ok, Take a break rest is an important part of life you need YOU time and time to recharge. You and Dad have always been a great example of self-less service. Glad Thomas is learning to express his emotions that will help him. Sounds like summer is in full swing hope your enjoying! We finally got to watch that world-wide leadership traning at our Zone-conference last week and it was amazing SOMETHING IS HAPPENING! the way the 12 were talking something is coming and if we are not watching and ready we will miss it! im reading the new testament right now and all the parables are interesting - the bridegroom is coming and we must prepare our lamps. But im loving mission i think i have finally reached the point where i have given my heart to the Lord.... i dont really care or miss things from home much any more (besides you guys! :) ) but really i love this work so much and i love serving others my heart is given to the lord and there is no turning back i love the challenges i love the excitment i love the spirit and i have become a new creature as the scpirtures say throught the atonment of Christ. I LOVE YOU GUYS A LOT HOPE YOUR WELL!

Hey, yeah i just feel more tired in the mornings hahaha :) Yeah just
to know what you did and your experiences are nice, like that DVD we
got for Chirstmas it was amazing to watch and see all those things!
Its true there is a lot of stuff here and im so greatful for what i
was taught how to love and except people for who they are, its just
really sad when people here cant do that, because of cultarl or
history or whatever the reason. If they only knew how great this
gosple is even thought peopel listen to us they dont really comprhend!
Yeah Satan has such a strong hold on people here and it takes so much
work to make just a little progress! but thats what we are here for. I
had an incident with a member of my district last week so that was
kinda sad but i think we got everything worked out so hope everything
is good now. Time is going faster and i dont know how to keep up there
is so much work to be done and there is no way we can do it on our
own! But we keep praying and keep trying. Thanks for all you do and
your love and support

ELDER REEVE

just on a MORE spiritual note i've finished reading the Book of Mormon for the 3rd time on mission and the theam that has stood out to me this time is OBEDIENCE- Its the test of life to see if we will follow the things we are told to do and then when we make a mistake to repent and come back to Christ and be obedient again and stay that way! because miracles happen when we live in faith and not fear and we must be obedient to get the blessings and miracles will then happen and not before.

Augsut is cold and the rain is coming wihich means summer is on its
way (interesting fact ill get one whole year of summer!!! ) no more
winter for me after this last couple  months! Tell grandma i love her
a lot!!! well heres some happy news gary got baptised on sunday! it
was wonderful and just a great thing to happen. we will work closely
with him so he can get the presithood and stay strong! SUPER AMPED :)

New Area

hey,
This week has been good i sent you the e-mail with pictures to your other e-mail i think so hope you get it. But ya the work of the Lord is moving forward Myles and Jesses mission have both been split and even ours so things are really moving just gotta get people on board and see that this is the Lords church and he is in charge we really have no control over things, and so what little control we do have WE MUST DO SOMETHING TO HELP!
but no the ward is really close and they have temple trips every friday- but the temple is closed untill september so shame :( but the ward wants to help i think they are just discouraged and very busy cause they are mostly rich and so have big jobs that keep them traveling and what not. but we are trying :) yeah im still district leader and my comp is a convert like most of my companions have been except for a few. but ya im back in the town so close to the city and factories. but i've learned a lot about the history of the country during the appartided resigme. Nelson Mandela is alomst dead he is in hosptial...so it will interesting to see the reactions and results of the elections next year here. yeah the whole province is set up with green belts separating the townships (blacks) from town (whites) and so its just interesting to see the geographical separation as well was social and economical- i was reading 4th nephi and found it interesting How they accomplished a zion society and comparing it to the world today.
but thanks for all you do lots of love
ELDER REEVE

hey, this week was great :) we are preparing a guy named Gary for baptism and going to try and make it happen before my comp. goes home in agust. 20th. but we will see he just have to over come smoking but its not a big thing if they have the desire and he does he is so excited to be baptized and i have been able to help a couple of people over come addictions so the lord has really been able to use my experiences and use me as a tool to help others. I love helping others i really feel so good. guess thats something you and dad have taught me so thank you. here are some pictures of me chasing Zebras!!!!! AFRICA IS SO AWESOME!!!!!! :)

Alberton, New Town

HEY<
Well im in Alberton a town- so back to big houses and even bigger gates and fences haha :) but its fun my companion is Elder Lewis from Durban S.A. so we are having fun, the branch im in is really struggling they are in some kinda funk and no one want to or will do anything so my first sunday - blessed the sacrament. the 3rd speaker didnt pitch up so during the intermeadiate hymn i got asked to fill the rest of the time. said the closing prayer, helped with the sunday school lesson- a lady passed out during class so we gave her a blessing, then taught the young women about covenants so ya it was exciting.... alright well i have all the clothes i need so its fine on that side. about the reunion sounds fun- i should be free i dont think ill be going to school until the fall semester and unless i can find a job i dont think ill be busy. But ya im learning what im supposed to do here on mission- Help the members do their duties we went home teaching this week with a couple members whos companions are less-active. once again HUGE less-active numbers. they just need leadership and someone to inspire them and encourage them! But ya things are great :) hope all is well at home.

hey,
im surving the cold its just a bit hard to get outta bed in the morning because our flat is all tile! its cold! we live with the stake president in the granny flat about the house. We were givin the challenge by President to increase our faith and see the miracles that happen so i took the challenge and satan got the best of me! and then the lord chastised me a little bit so that was an experience haha but i got back on track and we had a great week. The area im in is super rich so we go tracting mansions and HUGE houses that are absolutely ridiculous so after a year in township its interesting haha. but ya things are going good im loving it and have a great opportunity for miracles here so im praying and working for them.sorry the computer dosnt have a USB so no pictures this week ill try again next week.
LOVE YOU THANKS FOR ALL YOU DO!
ELDER REEVE

HEY!
Well i will be getting transferred tomorrow - Tuesday - so next week ill let you know my new area and my comp- or you can just get on LDS tools and look at the missionaries serving in your ward and it will tell you everything even my phone number- but dont call me hahaha :) the church is growing and expanding a lot!
ya jesse and i talk to each other- he is doing well really loving mission! so thats good :) Tell grandma hi i sent her an e-mail for her birthday. Well not a lot to say today just been packing all last night and today getting ready for the transfer and saying good bye today. trying to take more pictures - im just not really one to carry a camera around all day. But ill try to do better- after i lost my flash drive with photos i kinda lost motivation haha but im taking a few.
Well love you a lot and hope your doing well.

Friends

A Bptism, Nice!

New People, Yeh !

hey mom im doing good,
things are really going good in our area this week was a little rough we had 17 apointments ditch on us but we found some new people so it was alright, yeah i still havent heard if we will get to watch this broadcast or not but it sounds nice. Yeah about Thomas i've been thinking you just really need to get to know him to be able to help him. Because people they will put up walls and avoid and deny things unless they really trust you so you must first build that relationship of trust with him. But ya hope it works :) How are you doing? how is the summer going? Things are just peachy here, i will find out if i am getting transferred next week or not, so ill let you know next week. NOt really a whole lot to report Africa is still crazy as ever and things are just going great this really is a wonderful land with so many wonderful people and things its a blessing to serve here.
ELDER REEVE

27 Lessons this week !

Hey, well this week was great we taught 27 lessons, really trying to help this area grow before i probably leave in the next 2 weeks (hopefully ) i dont want to have another 6 month area. haha I'm really trying to learn how to do the will of the Lord and follow the spirit because this place really needs some great families to help establish the church here in this area and we have found a few just hope we can get them to progress and come to church and feel the spirit which is there. Things are going great couldnt be happier. Love the work and love the people and love the things that are happening!
I forgot my pictures today again sorry. ill send you some pictures of the baptism that we had of the family from Zim. But thanks for all the love and support. LOVE YOU LOTS

A Letter From Dad

This afternoon we listen to the satatite broadcast from the meriot center in Provo to a Part of the new mission presidents training. They called it a world wide leadership training. Anyway it was to tell members that our responsibility is to find people for the Misionaries to teach. The Stake President here invited the whole stake to listen to it. Grandma Poulsons Stake also got to listen.
So Mother saw it also. It was a two hour meeting but the whole message was " Members get of your butts and find people for the Missionaries to Teach" . Now we just need to exercise the faith to go and DO!
It's been cool and cloudy here but the weather guesser says by the end of the week well be in the 90's so maybe it's going to get hot.
Kathren and Steve with be in Hurricane this week with there mirical baby , it would be nice to see her but.
We Picked cherries this week here and will start apricots tomarrow. It will get busy from now on for a while.
Our ward Misionaries are making lots of visits now with ward members but we haven't turned up any referrals yet. It's just pray like everything depends on the Lord and work like everything depends on me, now. Have to put into practice the advice I've been giving you.
I'am going to try and get to the African store in Boise this week and see if they have any mopie worms for sale. I'am very ceriouse to see what hey taste like.
We love you and are so pleased with your service to the Lord.
Love
Dad

Happy Fathers Day

Hey,
Well this week was a little bit less productive than others but we
still worked hard. and are having fun so its good :) Well ill tell you
a bit about the place since i have time today, Im serving in the
capital Pretoria, and there is a professional soccer stadium in the
area but the team is not very good so its a shame but still cool we
got to look around it. Made me miss sports ALOT! But last week when we
went to church someone had broken in past all the burgalr bars and
stuff and stole the laptop and what not from the library. Happens
quite a bit appaerently. Also SOuth africa lost to ethiopia and missed
the 2014 world cup bid so everyone was bummbed about that. Went to the
Vootreker monument on monday. its huge  building for the poinerrs in
SOUTH AFRICA so thats pretty cool. ALSO HAPPY FATHERS DAY DAD!!!!!
well we had our baptism last week so that was really great, a
wonderful sister, baptized by her husband made them very happy and she
doesnt even know about the temple yet!!! :) but ya things are going
good only 3 weeks left in this transfer so ill probably be leaving
this area soon but we shall see. WELL LOTS OF LOVE HOPE EVERYONE IS
DOING WEEL! :) SMILE!!!!!!

Attitude change

Glad things are going well, today was nice we went to the church camp ground out by the DAM and had a briaa ( BBQ) and did some fun things bought some cool african stuff . With all the challenges and things that have been going on i have asked myself why and what is it that im doing wrong. I've decided that i just need to change my attitude that i have been selfish and prideful and my patience has been tested which i have always felt was one of my best attributes so i had to take a step back and collect my self and go at it again and would you guess IM HAPPY AGAIN :) and things arent so bad as i was thinking just gotta change my attitude about the situation rather than expect or wish for the situation to change. So i guess i can say that is the lesson that i have learned this past month. Trying to work with the good people here, had a baptism last week. An investigator from the other missionaries ward asked me at to baptize her. so i got to do that so that was nice, i still havent gotten pictures yet so ill try to send next week but it was very nice. and we should have the baptism of the Zimbabwe family soon - next week so that will be nice :) but ya hope things are going well. LOVE YOU LOTS TELL EVERYONE HELLO :)

Easter II

Easter

Easter was long and hot, talked with so many drunk people that i can
tell what kind of beer people are drinkin just by smelling, they have
very distinct smells and it stinks! Inkonomozi - traditional african
beer, black lable and castel lager.....yup that pretty much sums up my
easter in township. Glad unlce Andy is doing better though :) thats
good to hear. Hope all the new babies are doing well and healthy :)
yeah thats the problem everyday working hard, sometimes you just get
tired.....this is hard work, not phyiscally well i guess im just used
to it, but Emotional, and spiritually its draning and there is no time
to relax and meditate and gather your self. But  i guess thats how it
goes. Well the work goes on and time is going faster!

yeah its getting chilly here this past week was raining and cold! got a new companion he is from Kiribati and island in the pacific ocean. Still struggling with the language he hasnt really put a lot of effort into it though like my last companion! that guy was dedicated to learning. But this is my 3rd companion that i have had to do language study with. never thought i would use Chapter 7 of PMG. guess i should become an English teach hahah just kidding! yeah the mission is getting ready for the split and lots of things are happening. conference was all about mission and its going to take a lot of funds to open 50+ new missions and everything. Well I am learning a lot in this area after 6 weeks i had to take over so still struggling a bit but lots of good people here just have to put my head down and get to work to build this area up. The ward is good and like all the township wards here a bit unorganized and a lot crazy but its good. i've been reading D&C trying to get through it for the 1st time and i've really been rebuked i guess is the right word. But lots of talk of missionary work and how to do it. So i still have lots of learn in this journey of life. haha
well lots of love hope all is going well for you
ELDER REEVE

Well its been a crazy week. Got a new comp his name is Elder Iairo he is from Kiribati and island in the pacific ocean close to tonga and samoa. Its been an interesting week trying to mesh and get comfortable with each other but its good. I had a wonderful opportunity last week to testify about the atonement to a guy we are teaching- owen, he is overcoming Word of Wisdom problems and i had the chance to testify of how the Atonement can help him overcome that it was a great experience and really helped me to know that i have a testimony of the atonement so that was good :) Got to eat pigs feet and mopani worms WOW! that has been the only thing that i have had a hard time eating just because of the texture! but then i got to eat Moghodu which is cow intestine- wasnt bad with pork and acha - its like a mango salad. so lots of excotic things this week haha its been really wet and cold this past week and out car broke down in the middle of the night on friday so that was a problem but we were able to call a member and got the problem fixed.  so its been an interesting week. LOTS OF LOVE ELDER REEVE- MY NEW COMP. my last comps in our 3-some (backwards oreo! :)
